NBC TV & Boys & Girls Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America Los Angeles County Alliance (BeGreatla.org) and NBC TV invites teens to participate in its upcoming Teen Summit. This all-day conference on UCLA’s campus will take place Saturday, November 23, 2013 and is offered free of charge for LA County Boys and Girls Club members ages 13-18.

The purpose of the event is to empower teens to expect more and to be more on all levels through inspiring speakers and interactive break-out sessions about building relationships, drug and obesity prevention and realizing your dreams. Speakers include: Daniel Puder on anti-bullying, Kellee McQuinn from Kidtribe, health experts, career experts, colleges and inspiring stories from Michelle Delamor, an American Idol finalist.

Over 1200 teens are anticipated to attend. Participating teens must be members of a Los Angeles County Boys & Girls Club (visit begreatla.org to find the Club nearest you).
