Pickwick Ice

Want to cool off this summer?  Need ideas for fun activities to do with the kids?  Well, Pickwick Ice is a year-round winter re-treat in your own Burbank backyard!

With public skating sessions every day, you don’t need to be an Olympian or a member of the Kings to enjoy your hair whipping through the brisk air as you wobble along on shiny blades.  Pricing is extremely reasonable, with adults at $12 (including skate rental) and children at $11, you can take the whole family, or share a date with a sweetheart.  If that’s still a bit pricey, you can pay the late rate of $9 (including skate rental) and only skate the last 45 minutes (which for the beginner, may even be a more reasonable amount of time).   So the next time you find yourself sweating, bored in your living room, or just needing a light workout, consider taking a short drive to an icy cold escape.
