THE AUTRY’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND in Burbank
THE AUTRY’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND
Saturday–Sunday, November 23–24, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Commemorate the Autry’s first 25 years with a fun-filled weekend honoring the history, people, and collections that have helped the museum tell the diverse stories of the American West. Participate in a museum-wide scavenger hunt to find objects that visitors selected as their favorites through a yearlong voting process.
You will also enjoy special gallery talks and tours led by Autry curators, conservators, and other behind-the-scenes staff, plus screenings of Gene Autry films. Celebrate with a slice of anniversary cake and share your stories with the Autry through interactive storytelling stations.
During this weekend, the Autry will also unveil a new exhibit case featuring the costumes Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp wore in the 2013 filmThe Lone Ranger. See Tonto’s signature crow headdress on display for the very first time!
