Last Night I met Ed Asner, actor known for his portrayal of Lou Grant on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and most recently in the Warner Brother’s movie “Elf” at the first-ever Warner Brother’s VIP Tour Christmas Tree Lighting. Free to the public this was a fun event filled with jolly people excited to meet the historian Marc Wanamaker who was the Guest Speaker at the Free Monthly Lecture Series hosted by the Warner Brother’s VIP Tour. Held in the Warner Brother’s Store, free holiday lattes and other drinks were on hand from Starbucks (located in the store) and the professional Carolers from “Voices of Christmas” dressed in Dickens Costumes, were splendid indeed. Just the right kick-off for the holiday season!

Marc Wanamaker is the real deal on Film and Hollywood history. The slide show presentation of rare photos of Hollywood, Los Angeles and some of the very first studios was fascinating.

I’m told in the coming months, some very famous people will be included in the Speaker Series so stayed tuned to this site for more on that.
