The Ultimate Bibliophiles’ Night Out – Burbank

Dec. 16, 2013 – LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Book’d in Burbank, sponsored and organized by Liz D Publicity & Promotions, hosts its season premiere on January 16, 2014 from 8:00 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. at Theatre Banshee in the Magnolia Park section of Burbank.  Following the momentum of the popular literary event’s inaugural success, Book’d moves forward with a second round of author readings and literary entertainment in 2014.

“The outpouring of support for Book’d, from local authors and readers, has been enormously encouraging,” says Liz Donatelli, Liz D Publicity & Promotions PR Director, “Book’d in Burbank is thrilled to continue delivering bookish good times to the Los Angeles book community.”  The upcoming program includes: mystery, romance and young adult (YA) fiction readings by local authors, a Book’d authors books giveaway, a reader-author mingling reception, a bookish gift basket giveaway provided by event sponsors, and the comedic stylings of Jordan Likover, a Book’d mainstay whose jokes have appeared on Conan O’Brien’s “Team Coco” andJeopardy!.

The talented panel of Book’d in Burbank authors is joined by Terri Nolan, mystery author of the Birdie Keane crime fiction series, Linda O. Johnston, author of Pet Rescue Mysteries, Layne Wong, debut author of WWII romance Shanghai Love, Robin Bielman, contemporary romance author of the Secret Wishes series, Lauren Miller, YA sci-fi author of Parallel, and Maurene Goo, author of Since You Asked…, a contemporary YA novel that has earned a place on Los Angeles Public Library’s Best of 2013 Teen Books list.
